Simple operation
As soon as the plasmatunnel is switched on and the operating status is reached, the conveyor belt switches on and the treatment process can begin. The parts to be treated simply need to be placed on the belt. Three-dimensional activation takes place during the throughput process. Complex robot automation or additional tools are not required.
3-dimensional plasma treatment
The plasma tunnel generates a three-dimensional, cold plasma field through which the parts to be treated are guided by the conveyor belt. The plasma field also ensures that static charges on the plastic parts are neutralised. This effect ensures that the surfaces are freed from fine dust particles and no longer pick up dirt particles. As the plasma is cold, temperature-sensitive parts can also be treated, as material distortion is prevented.
Flexible use
The plasmatunnel is available in standardised sizes from 300, 400 to 450 mm². Special sizes can be realised on request and according to product requirements. Even with the standard sizes, the flexibility of the system is unrivalled. As long as the parts fit into the treatment room, they can also be activated. An instrument panel with a length of approx. 1,400 mm can be treated with the plasmatunnel in a cycle time of less than 60 seconds. In addition to instrument panels, the systems are also used for airbag caps, door panels, centre consoles, but also for packaging, white and brown goods.
